Strategy Writeup
Divide and Conquer, that is the best strategy for this mini-boss. This mini-boss appears in a group of four skeleton horsemen, you'll want to avoid being caught in a group. Having the artifacts, Boots of Swiftness, Totem of Shielding, and Wind Horn will help you win this battle. The Wind Horn will knock them back and cause them to separate from each other, when this happens, focus on killing them one at a time. Totem of Shielding will protect you from their projectile attacks, while Boots of Swiftness will give you the advantage of moving fast.
Attacks & Counters
Attack | Counter |
Ranged Attacks | Their basic attack is shooting you with the bow and arrow. If you have the Deflect enchantment on your Armor, you can deflect their attacks, or use the Totem of Shielding artifact. |
Stampede | The horsemen will try to run you over. Keep your distance, use Boots of Swiftness to increase your movement speed. |
Skeleton Horsemen Lore
The Skeleton Horsemen are protectors of the undead ruler of the Desert Temple. They will stop anyone who tries to explore and find the enchanted staff of the Nameless Ruler. They have low health and are the easiest mini-boss to fight, however, do not underestimate their mobility and their attacks once they are in a group.
