The Illusioner has four different attacks, and most of the time, he will make copies of himself to confuse you. The best way to deal with this boss is to inflict AoE Attacks like using the Fireworks Arrow.
Attacks & Counters
| Attack | Counter |
| Blind Spell | Occasionally casts blindness where a dark cloud appears above the players head. Use Boots of Swiftness to gain extra speed and then roll to dodge it. |
| Duplicate Spell | Use AoE bassed attacks and Enchantments that can boost the speed of your attacks to quickly take them out. |
| Shoot Arrows | The Illusioner and its duplicates will shoot arrows at you, you can shoot them from afar with your ranged weapons too. |
| Explosive Arrows | Sometimes, the Illusioner and its duplicates will also shoot explosive arrows, use Boots of Swiftness to gain extra speed, and then roll to dodge it. Using AoE attacks and Enchantments that can boost both your melee and ranged attacks will quickly eliminate the duplicates. |
Illusioner Lore
The Illusioner was once a normal illager, however, it looks diffierent compared to the regular Illusioner that's normally encountered. The Illusioner wears a dark purple hooded-robe that has dark outlines. It's eyes are pink which makes him stand out from the other Illagers. The Illusioner seems to have been corrupted by the shard of the orb that spread throughout the island - he only appears in the Creeping Winter DLC.
