Evoker is a Mini-Boss in Minecraft Dungeons. Boss short description. Bosses are special enemies that are uniquely named and must be defeated in order to unlock new areas, to progress the game, and to obtain various rewards. The Evoker is the Arch-Illager's most powerful sorcerer capable of summoning magical wisps and pillars.

Strategy Writeup
The Evoker will try to keep you away from him by summoning magical wisps and pillars. Having the Boots of Swiftness artifact, as well as the Death Cap Mushroom will benefit in this battle. Its pillar attacks inflict high damage, but it doesn't have that much armor, and continuously attacking it with melee weapons will quickly kill him. The reason why the two artifacts are recommended is to speed up your movement and attacks, you'll be able to run around the Evoker and quickly close the gap to land those melee attacks.

| Magical Wisps | The Evoker will constantly summon a swarm of magical wisps that will follow and attack you. Use AoE attacks like the Fireworks Arrow, or consume a Death Cap Mushroom to speed up your melee attacks. It has low health, so it can easily be killed. |
| Vertical Pillars | Usually, after killing the swarm, or if you are struggling to kill it, the Evoker will use its powers to summon vertical pillars towards you. The damage is quite painful and it slightly knocks you up. It's a fast attack as well, but its range isn't that long, you can dodge backward or to the sides to avoid getting hit. |
| Circular Pillars | If ever you get close to the Evoker, it will summon pillars around it to stop you from getting near him. You'll have time to see the pillars before it emerges from the ground - and to save yourself enough time, instead of dodging away, position yourself beside the Evoker and keep attacking him. |

Evoker Lore
The Evoker is the Arch-Illager's strongest sorcerer. He will first appear as a mini-boss around Pumpkin Pastures and becomes the main boss for the same location. Later on, he will reappear in various locations, again, as a mini-boss to try and stop you. It has low health and is vulnerable to melee attacks.
